Elections in kenya has contributed to:-
Slower Economic Growth-Since industries experience negative impact during the election period,the government together with the citizens are looking at long term results for positive change in the economy.Most citizens are only  worried about the main changes that will come by after they choose their leaders.

Debts of Government-Nationally the debt that is taken by the government usually increases since they need the money in preparation of the elctions in terms of materials e.g ballot papers boxes and even labor for the electrol officers.

Rising inflations-spending of the political parties during the campaigns where lots of money are just taken from the bank causing limitation of products such as food and drinks that later increases their prices.

Increased taxes-Spendings on the elections thus resulting into a decrease in the financials of the country,resulting to an increase of the value added tax for some products that which citizens never expected.

Postponding Decssion-Most business owners in kenya tend to close down their businesses during the elctions thus putting their incomes at a stand still.
